Russ Kip Moore, 66, of Honesdale and formerly of Dumont, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 28, 1954 in Bryan, TX, he was the son of the late Carl and Loretta (Mydan) Moore. While in high school, Russ took an interest in music. Specifically playing the saxophone.

After graduating with honors, he moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music for a summer where he took courses that were not offered at his previous college.

Along with his music career, Russ also became a successful mortgage broker in Dumont.
