Deepest sympathy to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting and playing basketball with Bob in the 1960's. I grew up in Fremont Center,NY and attended Delaware Valley Central School. Mickey Roche asked me to play with his Men's team summers after I had graduated. We would play summer nights against Camp Counselers in the Poconos and Catskills. A traditional game each year was a benefit game against Guy Rodgers and his counselers at Damascus High School. Among the other players I had the privelage of playing with were Al O'Keefe, Jerry Davitt, Paul Zintel and Lanny Ernst. Bob was among the best I ever played with and a real gentlemen. I learned a lot from Bob and he will always be remembered and missed.. Those were treasured times for me . Kindest Wishes Garry Mitinas
