For 33 yrs. Reed quietly guided and taught me as well as many others how to live an exemplary life. A truly gracious man with a heart so large that love emanated from him. As I have reflected over my years at WHMS I have always thought that I remained in my sixth grade classroom because i knew never would there be a better colleague with which to teach. Early mornings Reed and I would talk over the needs of the students we shared and it was obvious that there was a true passion for education and tender caring for each and every student. Laugh and joke over the silly things but struggle to make the bigger issues right. Thank you for sharing Reed with me all those years and I can't thank him enough for making my teaching career a proud segment of my life. Though our hearts all now have a huge void, the memories are to be treasured.

Mr. Sandercock taught two of our three children. I remember him being gracious when I pointed out a mistake he made and also very willing to change course. A rare teacher. Rest in peace.
