There was a time years ago when Doug was my youngest sons best buddy. He loved going to Kost. Once after lunch, he still had some ice chips from his soda. He wrapped them up in napkins & gave them to Doug telling him they were special diamonds & to keep them forever. Oh, the precious mind of a 4 yr. old. You & your ever ready smile left a warm spot in the hearts of all who knew you.

Sorry to read about Doug's passing. I worked with him years ago when I was a teen ager at the Old Plastic Factory on 11th Street. We always had a lot if fun there. Occasionally I would see him in the past years but had been a long time since I had seen him. Was so sadden to read of his passing. May he rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers are with his famy. God bless.

Darn Doug, what the hell did you do? You were supposed to retire and take it easy, relax for a change. I'm sure going to miss all the times we sat down and talked about guns, prices and of course your favorite German, Field Marshal Rommel. It doesn't seem that long ago, I guess late last spring or right after you left Kost. I remember you putting Pooper, outside and sitting there and talking for hours. I'm going to miss the heck out of you! I pray that God will bless and watch over you always. Until we meet again partner. Take care...

Damn Doug, what did you go and do? I was so surprised and saddened to see your obituary. I'll miss you, miss getting together and chewing the fat about guns and Rommel. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was over there. Well my good friend you are gone too soon! May God bless you and watch over you always. Until we hopefully will meet again.
