Davis Burial Date February 24, 2017 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Douglas Earl Davis, 64, of Milanville, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home. Born on June 15, 1952 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Earl Junior and Margaret Irene Acker Davis. He was a graduate of Damascus High School. Doug worked at Kost Tire in Honesdale for 27 years where he was an auto machinist. He restored an antique car and collected antique memorabilia. He enjoyed his gun collection, hunting and 4 wheeling. He also loved his dog “Pooper.” Surviving is his sister Doris Carey of Honesdale; a nephew Jim Walker; nieces Heather Gustafson, Amanda Hallock and Danielle Brussells; 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Walker. Cremation will be held at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory. His family will receive friends on Friday, February 24th, 4 to 7 at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
