William A. “Bud” Surdovel, 73, of Beach Lake, died on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes Barre.

Born on May 26, 1948, in Suffern, NY, he was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Elizabeth (Fox) Surdovel. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Before retiring, he was a supervisor at UPS in Philadelphia.

Bud was a member of the VFW in Honesdale, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Honesdale and the American Legion in Hawley. He enjoyed spending time with his friends golfing at Cricket Hill and playing cards. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was also a talented woodworker.

Surviving are his daughters Dawn and Christen; his sisters, Alicia A. Cornell, Sister Grace Surdovel and Peggy Surdovel; his brother Michael Surdovel.

Following cremation, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
