Obituaries » Verle D. Miner Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Verle Depp Miner, 92, of Honesdale and formerly of Sedalia, MO, died on May 4, 2016 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center. Born on August 6, 1923 in Pratt, KS, he was the son of the late Everest C. and Worthie M. Eubank Miner. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Atlantic Theatre. Verle retired from BGM Fasteners in Honesdale. Surviving are his sons Ronald Lee Miner and wife Coho of Blue River, OR, Gary Miner and wife Barbara of Honesdale and Jim Miner and wife Gail of Brookfield, CT; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. As per his request, private cremation services will be held at the families convenience.
