MESZLER (VONSON), SUSAN ELIZABETH  – Of Davisburg, formerly of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, age 73, died Monday, December 19, 2022.

 

Visitation 9 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway, Waterford Township, MI 48329, Father Robert Voiland officiating.

 

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

 

Susan was born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1949, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Hessling) Vonson.

 

Susan graduated from Honesdale Catholic High School Class of 1967.

 

On August 16, 1969 she married Thomas Meszler in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

 

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church; was a devout Catholic and reader. She had a great love for her family and her beloved dog, Sasha.

 

Susan was an Orthodontic Office Manager. She was the ultimate deal seeker and negotiator in the Midwest.

 

Surviving are husband, Thomas Meszler;

 

children, Michele (Rick) Meszler-Mueller,

Mark (Colleen) Meszler;

 

granddaughters, Ashley and Kellie Mueller, Maddie and Sydnie Meszler;

sister, Linda Vonson;

brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Debbi Vonson

niece, Amanda Vonson; nephew, Robert Vonson, Jr. and

dog, Sasha.

 

She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Ambrose and Doris Meszler and brother-in-law, EJ Robinson.

 

Local memorial services will be held at a later.  Local arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
