Ashley and Amber: Your father always spoke about you two girls. There was always a twinkle in his eyes when he and I would share stories and events with our children. I am terribly saddened by your loss. He was my friend for 10 years at least. Stay strong. And know I am just as much as your friend too. God Bless you both.

Ashley and Amber: I have known your dad for many years and I have to tell you he was head over heels about you two girls. You are his pride and joy. There wasn't a time that he didn't talk about one or both of you. He introduced me to you both two or three times while shopping in the Hamlin area and it was nice to see the twinkle in his eyes that a dad has for a daughter. I would love nothing more to see you both again and I hope I get too. Stay strong ladies and God Bless you Both everyday.

To Shep's daughters -- I am truly sorry for the loss of your father. I worked with him for about 12 years at Tobyhanna and he was truly the " life of the party". He kept us all laughing and made the working environment much more enjoyable than it would have been without him. Although I retired last fall, I am quite sure that your dad will be greatly missed at the depot. Am very concerned that his daughters will be okay without their dad, and would like to offer anything I can do to help out. Feel free to call if you need help in any way. (570) 732-4185. You and your dad are in my prayers. God bless. Kent Shipley

I'm sorry to be told of Shep's passing. I will miss his sense of humor around our workplace. He often show his NYC taught, "pickpocket skills" by attempting to steal the inspection flashlight I used. He was quite good at, most of the time I didn't feel a thing. I won't be able to make the viewing, as I'm headed to CA James Mason Electronic Equipment Inspector Tobyhanna Army Depot
