Sharon Lynn (Lord) Herlehy, 73, of Honesdale, died on July 3, 2016 at her daughters home in Beach Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Herlehy on May 21, 2009. The couple married on April 28, 1996.

Born on April 19, 1943 in Hackensack, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anne White Pedrick. She was a graduate of Bergenfield High School.

Sharon and her husband Dan owned and operated The Homefront Inc. in Honesdale until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale and participated in the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel.

She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends going out for dinner.

Surviving are her daughters, Laurie Mulligan and husband John of Honesdale and Tamsen Holbert and husband Craig of Beach Lake; her brothers Raymond Pedrick and wife Karen of MA and Martin Pedrick of TX; a sister Brenda Eyles of NJ; grandchildren Sean, Kimberly and Jacqueline Mulligan and Megan and William Holbert.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Pedrick and sister Gail Wood.

A Blessing service will be held on Tuesday, July 12th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 10 am. The family will receive friends on Monday, 5 to 8. Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Honesdale.

Memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
