Randy G. Fritz, 62, of Honesdale, died on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton.

Born on November 5, 1960 in Honesdale, he is the son of Marie (Theobald) Fritz of Honesdale and the late Gerald Fritz. After graduating from high school, Randy worked for many years in the family business, Fritz Brothers.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1858 in Honesdale. In his younger years, he enjoyed skiing and worked on ski patrol at Masthope. He also had a memorable ski trip to Chamoix, France. Randy enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and reading the newspaper.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Deborah Fritz of Honesdale and Marjorie Tamblyn and husband James of Honesdale; his brothers, Garry Fritz and companion Michelle Leunes of Honesdale, Daniel Fritz and wife Linda of New Castle, CO and Grant Fritz and companion, Kari Simons of Honesdale; his special friend, Judy Patten of Honesdale. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Megan Somers, Jeffrey, Zachary and Natalie Tamblyn, Dustin, Ryan and Brett Fritz; uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
