Lived in Bloomfield, New Jersey before moving to Honesdale, Pennsylvania in 2003. Past away in Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on December 23rd, 2021. Patrick served in the US Coast Guard from 1971-1974. He is survived by his wife Mary Docherty (Gibbons). Dad to Michelle Reidmiller, Jennifer Reilly, Patrick Docherty Jr, and Deborah Docherty. Stepfather to RJ Stadtler, Lisa Davis, and Tracy Segarra. Father-in-law to Larissa Docherty, John Davis, Jeana Stadtler and the late Adam Segarra. Grandfather to 29 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
