Obituaries » Mary Speakman (Mikolaichik) Burial Date October 22, 2016 Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Mary Speakman, 88, of Honesdale entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvard J Speakman on May 23, 1998. The couple married on November 27, 1955. She was the daughter of late Thomas and Mary Mikolaichik of Dundaff PA ,a graduate of Forest City High School and a member of the Central United Methodist Church A loving wife, sister, aunt and friend Mary enjoyed square dancing and community services. She was active in the United Methodist Woman Society, Warm up America, XYZ Retired Seniors and involved in making quilts for the homeless. She is survived by her brothers Stephen Mikolaichik and wife Roberta, Basil Mikolaichik, her twin sister Anne Janusz, her sister Helen Hrichuk, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 9 am. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, PA on Saturday at 1pm. Friends may visit on Friday, 4 to 7.
