Martin W. Menotti, 57, of Honesdale, died on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Kathy M. Faatz. The couple married on November 6, 1987.

Born on March 8, 1966 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Angela (Doherty) Menotti. He was a graduate of Honesdale High School. He has been employed for many years with PennDOT in Honesdale.

Marty enjoyed hunting with his nephews and working on his old trucks. He had a great appetite and always enjoyed a good meal. He was well known for his great sense of humor and storytelling by his close friends and family. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father that would do anything to provide for his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Alison Menotti and companion Shane Davailus of Waymart; his brothers, Terrance Menotti and wife Sandy of Ormond Beach, FL and John Menotti and wife Sue of Hawley; his aunt, Deborah Olver of Honesdale; his nieces and nephews, Adore, Nick, Dustin and Dominick Menotti, Janette Rosenthal, Jeremy Tyler and Nicholas Lillie and their families.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert J. Menotti and his niece, Christina Menotti.

Private services will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
