Obituaries » John A. Fotusky Share your Memorial with Family & Friends John Anthony Fotusky, 48, of Hawley, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife, the former Desiree Bohlinger. Born on January 7, 1973 in Reading, PA, he is the son of Maryann Herold Fotusky of Forest City and the late John Nathan Fotusky. John owned and operated John’s Painting and Remodeling in Hawley. An outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, camping and kayaking. Also surviving are his daughters Trinity Sampson and Sierra Fotusky; his step-son Alexander Smith; step-daughters Cheyanne and Sierra Curran and Sabrina Smith; his sisters Alberta Quick, Patricia Fotusky and Maryann Rosler; grandchildren Stella Wilson and Garett Mize. He was preceded in death by his sister Christine Soja. As per his request, following cremation, services will be private.
