Jeanne A. Daub, 91, passed peacefully away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 in the company of her two children.

Mrs. Daub was born in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late William Carl and Elizabeth (Scherer) Daub. She made her home in Honesdale and worked for several years as a bookkeeper for a large corporation. When she retired from there, she went back to work at the Wayne Area Agency on Aging as a receptionist. It was a position in which she made good friends and enjoyed the work. She retired at age 80.

She enjoyed craft time and bingo at Bethany Village and spent many peaceful hours praying the rosary.

Mrs. Daub is survived by her children, Mary and Howard Bryant and Michael and Joan Donofry. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren, James Matthew Hunter, Kim and Bruce Lawson and their children, Emma and Brandon Lawson and Jason and Jonathan Donofry. She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Janine Donofry. She is also survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth Mahoney and Frances Oldach, several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 16th at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale at 10 am by Fr. William J. P. Langen, Pastor. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
