Obituaries » Jean R. Carroll (Barbato) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Jean Rosemarie Carroll, 85, of Honesdale, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carroll on March 17, 2000. Born on April 21, 1937 in Netcong, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Carmella Barbato. Jean worked as a seamstress for several local companies before staying home to raise her family. A member of the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at The Other Shop in Honesdale. Jean enjoyed her walks around Honesdale where she was known by many. Surviving are her daughters, Kim Auriemma of Honesdale and Shawnee Carroll of Hawley; her son Thomas Carroll of Florida; several grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
