Obituaries » Ivan H. Davis Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Ivan H. Davis, 91, of Milanville, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Grace Mullen. The couple married on May 3, 1958. Born on August 18, 1931 in Milanville, he was the son of the late Edward and Rena (VanGorder) Davis. Ivan was a United States Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. Ivan worked for many years as a lineman and retired from Verizon in 1991. Ivan enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a member of the Boyds Mills Hunting Club. Surviving is his daughter, Kathleen Nonnenmacher of Morgan Hill, CA; his son Timothy Davis of Milanville; his grandchildren, Cynthia and Stephen Nonnenmacher, Nathan “Pete” Davis, and Nick Swendsen and wife Alecia; great grandchildren, Logan and Wyatt Swendsen; nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Davis and his wife Louise Swendsen; his son-in-law, James Nonnenmacher; his brothers, Robert, Louis, Leo and Earl Davis and his sister, Elizabeth Marshall. Friends may visit Hessling Murray Funeral Home on Monday, December 19th, 4 to 6:30. A blessing service will be held at 6:30.
