Harold Mann, 83, of South Canaan, died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018
at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife, the former
Bernadette Loughran.

Born on March 17, 1935 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph
and Claire Sommer Mann. Harold was a US Air Force veteran who served
during the Korean War.

Later Harold worked his way up in the elevator business in New York
and eventually owned his own business. He later moved to Wayne County
where he worked for the county for 30 years as a housing inspector
until his retirement in 2017.

Harold and his wife enjoyed antiquing as a side business and to decorate
their farmhouse.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Joseph Mann and
wife Sharon of Cane Ridge, TN and David Mann of Dumont, NJ; his
daughter Nancy Mann-Shapiro of Fort Lee, NJ; his step-son Mario Delara of
Clarks Summit, PA; a brother Selig Mann and wife Lynn of Queens, NY; 7
grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Riddell.

As per his request, cremation will be held and private services will
be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements by Hessling
Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
