Hannelore Scheer Wimmers passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021. She is at peace with God and joined again with the love of her life, Willi. Hannelore was a devote Christian who didn’t just look at her Bible but opened it and studied. Her faith foundation was tremendous and gave her strength and support throughout her life.

Hannelore possessed a tremendous wit and enjoyed laughing at every possible opportunity and having others laugh with her. She had a wonderful way with plants and flowers and her bay window boasted beauty all year round. Her life was a gift to others as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a volunteer at the Cat’s Pajama’s Dessin store for years and was very active at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Honesdale. She calmly navigated whatever life threw her way and was an inspiration to others.

Hannelore had a sister and brother who both went to be with the Father as young children. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura Brownell Dyser and Jeffrey Dyser, who was more son than in-law, a son and daughter-in-law William and Clarissa Wimmers, Granddaughter and husband, Margo and Michael Bzdick, Granddaughter Michelle Pasquariello and was blessed with many great grandchildren-Danika Diehl, Jade Diehl, Farrah Bzdick, Alivia Bzdick, Addy Bzdick, and Destiny Wimmers.

Those moved to contributing somewhere in Hannelore’s memory can donate to the Stained Glass Window repair project at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 107 7th St, Honesdale, Pa 18431. Additionally, her memory will be best preserved by an individual commitment of daily devotion and reading the Bible.

Visitation will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 3:00-6:00. A service will be held at 6:00 with a meal and fellowship thereafter at Cordaro’s Restaurant at which all are welcome. Final interment will be for family on Friday at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, New York. God Bless each and every one and thank you for your love and support.
