Grace E. (Mackle) Koehler, 84, of Bethany and formerly of Aldenville, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Koehler, Sr. on January 27, 2004. The couple married on October 19, 1957.

Born on September 24, 1934 in Seeleyville, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Mackle Sr. and Madelyn (Okowitz) Mackle.

Grace worked at the former Waymart Knitting and later retired from Mallard Meadows in Waymart where she was a dietary aid. Grace attended Aldenville Baptist Church.

Surviving is her daughter Linda Campbell and husband Terry of Bethany and her son Charles Koehler, Jr. and wife Lynda of Paupack; sisters Lois Terrel of Waymart and Jean Zebrowski of Sun City Center, FL; her brother-in-law Mark Koehler and wife Anna of Honesdale; sisters-in-law Carolyn Mackle of Honesdale and Mary Mitchell of Belford, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Lucille Piorkowski; her brothers Francis Flynn Mackle and Bruce “Bob” Mackle, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale by Rev. Gary Gilpin at 10 am. As per her request, cremation will follow and interment will be private in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Memorial contributions can be made to Aldenville Baptist Church, 971 Creek Dr., Prompton, PA 18456.
