Cox Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Florence Bernadette DeCroti O’Shea Cox, 62, of Honesdale, died on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her home. Born on July 7, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Anthony and Mildred Mary (Foye) DeCroti. After living many years in Long Island, she moved to Honesdale to be closer to family. Here she was employed at Camp Towanda. A faithful and caring person with a big heart, she attended the Hamlin Assembly of God. Florence enjoyed trips to the casino with her family. Recently she enjoyed living a quiet life, spending time with her grandchildren and watching the classics on television. Surviving are her daughters Jessica Hayes and Jeana Stadtler and husband RJ all of Honesdale; her son John O’Shea of Honesdale; her brother David DeCroti of Monticello, NY; her sisters Winifred Young of North Carolina, Barbara Bosy and Matilda DeCroti both of Tamaqua, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren Joseph Hayes, Maddelyn Hayes, Breanna Hayes, Faith Stadtler, Michael Stadtler and Nina Stadtler; her great granddaughter Zarriah Hayes. She was preceded in death by her sister Mildred Listwon. Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
