Obituaries » Eugene T. Potter Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Eugene Thomas Potter, 76, of Honesdale, died on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his wife, the former Juanita Felton. The couple married on March 20, 1976. Born on March 7, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Stephanie (Stetz) Potter. Gene for many years owned and operated his own construction business in Brooklyn. After settling in Honesdale, he later worked at The Home Depot in the plumbing department. He enjoyed tinkering around his home and he and his wife enjoyed restoring Kit Kat Klocks. In addition to Juanita, he is survived by his son, Mark Potter of the Philippines; his grandsons, Shaun Potter of Honesdale and Frank Potter of Pittston; his sister, Gwendolyn Potter of Honesdale and the joy of his life, his great granddaughter, Amy Potter. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Friscia; his son, Thomas Potter; sister, Joan Cush; brothers, Ronald, Kenneth and Dennis Potter. Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.
