Obituaries » Ernest R. Williams Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Ernest Russell Williams, Jr., 70, of Honesdale, died on Friday, June 4, 2021 at his home. Born on October 14, 1950 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Ernest Russell Sr. and Betty (Meyers) Williams. He was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. For many years, Ernest worked at Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic before retiring. He was a member of the VFW and Eagles Club in Honesdale. Surviving is his son Chris Williams of Honesdale; his sisters, Rose Rosler and husband Pat of Honesdale and Betty Wells of Kimbles; two granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
