Reid Burial Date April 24, 2019 Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Donna Marie Reid, 63, of Honesdale, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at The Gardens at Tunkhannock. Born on May 23, 1955 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Leland “Pete” and Nora Mae Miller Reid. After graduating from high school, Donna began working at Wayne Memorial Hospital as a nurses aid. Before retiring, Donna worked in reservations at Cove Haven. She enjoyed her time at Cove Haven and the friends she made there. Donna enjoyed gardening, reading, listening to music and watching television. She also enjoyed baking around the holidays, making cookies for family and friends. Most of all, Donna enjoyed spending time with her son Jeff. She is survived by her son Jeff Sporer Jr. with whom she resided; several aunts and uncles and many close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother Ronald Edmund Reid. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 1 pm by Pastor Pat Hanley. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday, 11 until the time of service.
