Anne began working at Sear Robuck and Co. in Honesdale. After raising her family, she worked in the family insurance business with her husband. She was a faithful member of B.V.M. Queen of Peace Parish in Hawley.

She and Rudy enjoyed traveling. Many of those trips included scubadiving. During one of those trips she began underwater photography and has quite the collection of underwater pictures. In her younger years, she loved winter sports. In recent years, she loved spending summers at Lake Wallenpaupack and winters in Florida.

Surviving are her sons, Michael J. Dieterich and Gerald A. Dieterich both of Hawley; her former daughter-in-law, Michele Dieterich; her brother, John “Jack” Gumpper of Honesdale; her sister, Patricia Romich of Hawley. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Renee (Dieterich) Schwesinger of Honesdale, Michael Dieterich and wife Kelly of Damascus, Matthew Dieterich of Beach Lake, Alexander Dieterich and partner Hailey Merritt of Honesdale and Tyler Dieterich of Hawley. Great grandchildren, Scott Davis, Logan Dieterich, Cole Dieterich and Ayden Schwesinger.
