Geisinger Medical Center in Scranton, PA shortly after sharing his final moments with his son,
Christopher Kelemen.
He graduated from Carteret High School in 1968, where he played as Guard on the high school football
team. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State College, and was a
teacher for two years before taking over the family-owned taxi business in Carteret, NJ. He ran a
successful taxi business for many years before retiring and relocating to PA in the year 2000.
Andrew enjoyed scuba diving, camping, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities. He had a great
sense of humor and was always joking and laughing, and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his son Christopher Kelemen, his sister Linda Kelemen, in addition to his long-time
friend Tracy “Dicky” Ferrell. Arrangements made by Hessling Murray Funeral Home Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, PA.
