Obituaries » Phyllis Virginia (Wildrick) Wydeen Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Phyllis Virginia Wydeen, 82, of Honesdale, died on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert John Wydeen on June 4, 1996. The couple married on July 11, 1959. Born on February 25, 1935 in Tunkhannock, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stacy E. and Ester Brown Wildrick. A loving housewife and mother, Phyllis enjoyed word puzzles and music. She enjoyed singing and listening to country music. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale. Surviving are her sons Albert Patrick Wydeen of Lake Whitney, TX and Stacy Francis Wydeen of Honesdale; her daughters Kathryn Leona Wydeen and Esther Elizabeth Wydeen both of Honesdale; a granddaughter Rebecca Wydeen. She was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Conners; brothers James and Lyle Wildrick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 3rd at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
