Dapper, 93, of Honesdale, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale where she has been residing. She was previously a resident at Bethany Village. Born on March 4, 1924 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Louise Loscig Dapper. Jeanette worked at Dairylea in Honesdale until it closed. Before retiring, she was employed at the Wayne County Courthouse where she was a receptionist. Surviving is her son L. Robert Dapper and wife Susanjane (Ryder) of Lakewood Ranch, FL. Also surviving is her grandson Robert A. Dapper of Bradenton, FL, her granddaughter Julianna M. Hammer of who lives in Carver, MN; 5 great grandchildren; newphews Donald McCann and Joseph Smith and nieces Carol O’Neill and Janice Spencer. Jeanette’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Bethany Village and Ellen Memorial for their exceptional care. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, at 11am by Pastor Richard Mowery. Friends may visit on Monday, 10 until service time.
