Logan David Gorski, 16, of White Mills, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 5, 2020. He was the son of David and Jennifer Gorski Thomas and would have celebrated his 17th birthday on October 16th. He was born in Tarboro, NC. A junior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, Logan was a member of the Ambassador Club, Honor Society, the Yearbook Club and especially enjoyed being part of the school plays and theatre. He also enjoyed being active in the community, being a Junior Firefighter at the White Mills Fire Dept. and Central Fire Dept. at Fawn Lake. In the spirit of helping other, Logan enjoyed volunteering at the Masthope Mountain Community, the VFW Post 531 and the American Legion Post 531. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was a former member of the Cub Scouts. Logan enjoyed photography and also has done some modeling. Several years ago he made the cover of the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders program. He attended the Beach Lake United Methodist Church and the former First Presbyterian Church in Honesdale. Logan was a kind kid with a bright future. He was always willing to help others and enjoyed life. He enjoyed fishing, camping, animals, walking and taking in all the that nature had to offer. He loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Kole Steven Gorski-Thomas at home; his maternal grandfather Chester Gorski and wife Karla of Beach Lake; paternal grandfather Hanford Thomas of Ballston Spa, NY; his uncle Chester Andy Gorski of Beach Lake; his aunt Carol Ann Thomas of Clifton Park, NY; and his girlfriend Brittney Barclay of Honesdale; many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Barbara Gorski and paternal grandmother Mary-Jane Thomas. A celebration of Logan’s life will be held on Monday, October 12th, 4 to 7, at The Settler’s Inn in Hawley where Logan was employed. All guests are required to where masks.
