Robert Arloe Dougher May 2, 1983 – May 24, 2026 Robert Arloe Dougher, known as “Bobby,” son of Susan A. and William P. Dougher Jr. was shot and killed during a neighborhood dispute in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 24th, 2026. Born on May 2nd, 1983, Bobby was 43 years old. Raised in White Mills, Pa., Bobby spent much of his time outdoors with his family and friends. When young, he loved summers at the farm in Cold Springs with his grandparents and sister. As he grew older, his interests turned to skateboarding, BMX bicycles, and staying out until dark with his neighborhood friends. Upon receiving his license, all focus shifted towards tuner cars and his Honda Civic SI. After graduating from Wallenpaupack High School in 2001, Bobby studied for a short time at Bloomsburg State College before returning home to pursue his other passion, operating heavy equipment. After working alongside his father for many years, he carried his passion with him and continued the profession when he moved to Colorado. Bobby is survived by his mother, Susan (Gager) Dougher, sister Harmony (Dougher) Merves, her husband Zachary, and their two children. Also surviving are his Uncle Donald P. Gager , Aunts Linda (Dougher) Gager and Donna (Dougher) Tyler, and many cousins. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Bill, who passed away August 28th, 2020, his beloved dog Bowsie, and his grandparents Alice and Arloe Gager, and Ann and Bill Dougher Sr. A day of remembrance for Bobby and Bill will be held at the White Mills Community Hall from 1 to 4 pm on August 30th, 2026.
