Wrenley Jo Diehl, 8 months old, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

 

Born on July 29, 2021 in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of Eric and Emily Jonas Diehl of Honesdale.  Wrenley Jo had a profound love for her whole family but the deepest love was for her parents which could be seen in her big sparkling eyes.

 

 

She loved her bath time and especially loved the family dog, Paisley. Her beautiful smile and bright eyes will be missed by all who loved Wrenley.

 

In addition to her parents, Wrenley is survived by her paternal grandparents, Louis and Jule Diehl of Damascus; maternal grandparents, Bill and Mia Jonas of Cold Springs; maternal great grandparents, Edwin and Sally Jonas of Cold Springs; uncles, Ryan Diehl and wife Ann of Pleasant Mount and Adam Diehl and wife Brindy of Damascus; aunts, Lauren VanSickle and husband Dirk of Pleasant Mount, Kathryn Jonas and Walter Terry of Cold Springs.  She is also survived by several cousins.

 

Wrenley’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at CHOP Cardiac Center for their care and compassion.

 

A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Honesdale at 11 am.  Interment will follow in St. Cecelia’s Cemetery, Hilltop.  Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St.Honesdale.
