William Kile, 72, of Prompton, passed away after a sudden illness at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital on Friday, April 27, 2018.

Beloved husband of Sally (Wiszneski) Kile, William was born in Quakertown, PA on March 10, 1946 to the late Samuel and Anna (Betz) Kile. He lived most his life in Quakertown and Allentown areas before moving to Prompton.

William enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening, fishing and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by his daughters, Sally Ann Sytko of Brick, NJ; Amy and husband Micah Davis of Whitehall, PA; Katherine Black and Marion Kile of Prompton. His grandchildren David (Laura) Dow of NH, Christopher Sytko of Philadelphia, PA, Brenda (Brent) Fife of NH, Johnathan Sytko of Brick, NJ, Blake Davis of Bath, PA, Hailey Lewis of Prompton, John and Nicholas Chmura of Prompton and Daniel Kile of Prompton. Great Grandchildren Sophia Dow, Brian Moore, Acadia Fife, Ray Anders, Brookelyn Dow and Sadie Fife all of NH. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Samuel Kile and his daughter Nancy Dow.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 3rd, at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. at 3 pm. The family will receive friends, 1 until the time of service. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
