Obituaries » William F. Stasick Share your Memorial with Family & Friends William Francis Stasick, 76, of Cherry Ridge, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home. Born on November 6, 1941 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late John F. and Constance (Cassie) Yatsonsky Stasick. Growing up, Bill was a talented baseball and softball player, playing on teams in Lake Ariel and Cherry Ridge. He worked in construction and specialized in drywall finishing. Later he owned and operated the Hammer and Nail Bar in Cherry Ridge. Recently Bill was a hay and vegetable farmer. Bill enjoyed being with his friends and making new friends. He enjoyed bartending and making people laugh. Surviving is his sister Rosemary Ciccone and husband John of Honesdale and his brother Lawrence Stasick of Honesdale; his nephew Joseph Ciccone of Honesdale. As per his request, private cremation will be held. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
