Obituaries » Willaim Russon Ganner Burial Date December 12, 2020 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Willaim Russon “Russ” Ganner, 65, of Bethany, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at home. He is survived by his husband, Harold Dennis Christie. Born on October 11, 1955 in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas Alan and Donna Marie (Daron) Ganner. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University. He later continued his education, receiving degrees from Parsons School of Design, Stevens Institute of Technology and Baily Ballard School of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. He began working at AT&T Corporation in Middletown, NY. He later worked for IBM Global Services in Poughkeepsie, NY and retired in 2012. Russ also served on the board of the United Way Campaign in Northampton County, Foxwood Farms and Big Brother’s Campaign. A great cook, Russ enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and spending time with his friends. Also surviving is his brother Thomas A. Ganner, Jr. and wife Carolyn and his niece Irena. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12th in Milanville Cemetery at 1 pm.
