Obituaries » Thomas J. Dixon Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Thomas Dixon Jr., 73, of Pleasant Mount passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 after a long battle with brain cancer. Born on October 15,1950, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Partyka) Dixon. Tom was a Vietnam era U.S. Army veteran. He partnered with his brother in a family run manufacturing business in Pleasant Mount. He had great pride in designing and manufacturing products sold world wide. Many unique items changed the marketplace that they were used in. Being raised on a farm, he had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed just being able to live in an area where you could appreciate nature at its best. He is survived by his brother, John, nephew, S. Jay (Rebecca) Smith, and his great nieces Megan(Dylan), Rachel, and Katherine Smith. While he never had children of his own, he took great pride in trying to pass along what he had learned over the 73 years to his nephew and the great nieces that he dearly loved. At his request, there will be no services, but in the spring family and friends will get together to remember the great times the enjoyed with Tom.
