Thomas E. Sheridan, Sr. was born December 4, 1930, in Hawley, Pennsylvania, the youngest child of Rose Myers Sheridan and Joseph E. Sheridan, Sr.. He died peacefully, at his home in Hawley, on Friday, April 1, 2022. He was 91 years old.

During his life, Tom valued the gifts of faith, family, and friends. He was honored to be given the opportunity to serve at the local, regional, state and national levels, on numerous civic, professional, veteran, charitable, and educational organizations.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Dr. Ethan Singer, for his compassion and dedication to Tom’s well-being. And a heartfelt thank you to Barbara Korteling, for her love and caregiving, making it possible for Tom to remain at home.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rose and Joseph Sheridan, his sister, Catherine and her husband Robert Sullivan, and his brother, Joseph E. “Gene”, who was also his business partner for over 35 years.

Tom is survived by his wife, Wanda Schutz Sheridan, and their children: son, Tom, and his wife, Vickie, grandson Cody, granddaughter Kelsey, daughter, W. Lynne, and her husband, Rick Holden, and daughter, Colleen, and her husband, Jason Sweet; his sister-in-law, Louise Sheridan.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, at Lukan’s Farm Resort, 539 Long Ridge Road, Hawley, Pennsylvania. Visiting hour will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m..
