Suzette L. Peck, 52, of Hamlin and formerly of Honesdale, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 26, 2022.

Born on February 26, 1970 in Honesdale, she is the daughter of Marilyn (Houman) Pidgeon of Carbondale and the late Joseph Hambke.

Suzette worked for many years as a certified nurses assistant at several local nursing homes, retiring from Lackawanna County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends, “The Golden Girls” and socializing.  In her younger years, she enjoyed riding and caring for her horses.  She enjoyed trips to the beach, listening to music, camping and having some tequila every now and then.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Felicia Proppe and husband Devin Proppe of Hamlin, Krishna Peck and husband Michael Struble of Sumpter, SC and Clarissa Peck and fiancee Travis Kizer of Archbald; her brothers, Kevin Hambke of NJ and Michael Pidgeon of Dickson City; her sisters, Jill Pidgeon and husband Aaron Swendsen and Joyce Conklin all of Carbondale; her aunt, Beverly Whitby of Honesdale; a close friend and father figure, Joseph Klosky; grandchildren, Bentley and Liana Proppe and Samyia Giles.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.  She will also be missed by her fur grand dogs, Turbo and Delta.

A memorial service will be held at the Hamlin Assembly of God on Friday, December 30th at 2 pm.  The family will receive friends at church 1 until the time of service.  Arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
