Lupyak, 49, of Hawley, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 after an accident at his home. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Sheerer. The couple married on October 18, 2014. Born on December 16, 1965 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Stephen Lupyak Jr. and Wanda Cottle Lupyak. He was a graduate of Honesdale High School and currently was employed at J.S. Wright Construction Co. in Carbondale. Stephen was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding with his wife. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a hard worker and would do anything to help anyone. Also surviving is his daughter Hailey Lupyak of Pittston, PA; step-sons Jonathon and Damon Everett both of Hawley and A.J. Everett at home; step-daughters Amanda Everett of Honesdale and Alexandra Everett at home; a brother Jerome Lupyak of Waymart; sisters Nancy Burkett and husband Tom of Vero Beach, FL and Susan Lewis and husband Ron of Honesdale; 3 grandchildren Hunter, Alan and Tatum; his uncle Robert Lupyak of Honesdale; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Diane (White) Lupyak. Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, 428 Main St. Honesdale on Monday, 4 to 7. Private funeral services will be held at the families convenience. Cremation will follow with interment in Smith Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stephen J. Lupyak Memorial Fund, c/o Barbara Lupyak, P.O.
