Obituaries » Shirley R. Close Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Shirley R. (Morgan) Close, 77, of Honesdale, died on Firday, May 6, 2016 at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center in Lake Ariel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Close in 2001. Born on October 3, 1938 in Deposit, NY, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Morgan and Virginia Leahy Morgan Williams. She was a graduate of Deposit High School. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading and knitting. Surviving are her daughters Ronna Candalino of Florida, Rena Stanton and husband Jody of Honesdale, Richele Frechen of Honesdale and Rene Constable of Beach Lake; a sister, Jane Gehrig of Equinunk; grandchildren Anthony Candalino, Randolyn Treffiletti, Dale Van Antwerp Jr. and wife Janine, Vinginia Van Antwerp, Lorena Van Antwerp, Nicholas Miller and wife Cassie, Adam Constable and wife Lisa, Jake and Sarah; great grandchildren Amelia, Julie, Kadie, Fisher, Everleigh, Josiah, Logan, Sofia, Devan, Dale III, Mia, Lilian, Riley, Bailey, Danny, Nicholas, Deklan, and McKaidm. She was preceded in death by her great grandson Noah Van Antwerp.
