Anke, 82 of Hawley, died on Monday, January 2, 2016 at Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E. Anke on July 4, 2010. The couple married on July 6, 1960. Born on November 18, 1934 at the family home in White Mills, she was the daughter of the late Willet and Margariet Bellman Rollison. Before retiring, Shriley worked at the former Katz Underwear Factory. Shirley was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hawley. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Surviving is her sister Gladys Gibbons of Hawley; a sister-in-law Sandra DeMany of Paupack; a nephew Mike Gibbons; nieces Cathy Kapschull, Karen Cron, and Jenna Fitzpatrick and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Howard Rollison, Elaine Cron, and infant sisters Catherine and Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 11am. Interment will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery.
