Adams (Rank) Burial Date April 21, 2026 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Sharon Joy Adams, 60, of Honesdale, died on April 13th 2026 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit in Dunmore. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James G. Adams. The couple married on June 5, 1982. Born on August 5, 1965, in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Margaret R. (Feller) Rank. She was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School. Sharon dedicated her life to the service of children and was a beacon of love and support for all who knew her. As the acting chairperson of the Fresh Air Fund and a dedicated volunteer of the St. John the Evangelist Parish Youth Group, she enriched the lives of countless youth. Sharon possessed an extraordinary gift for lighting up every room with her incredible sense of humor and sharp, playful wit. A devoted gardener, she found joy tending her flowers and nurturing both plants and people with equal care. Above all, she was a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother whose love and nurturing spirit touched her family and those around her. A member of St. Thomas More Parish in Lake Ariel, Sharon lived her life with a passion that inspired those who knew her. She approached every engagement with dedication and warmth, leaving a legacy of service and kindness. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Cortney McNelley and husband Ryan of Send, Surrey, England, Chelsey Ubertini and husband Jordan of Honesdale and Cale Adams of Honesdale; her brother, Robert Rank and wife Barbara of Waldorf, MD; her sisters, Robin Weeks and husband Roger and Darlene Mosher and husband Scott all of Hawley. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brazlin, Breckon, Braxton and Brae Ubertini and Isla and Maisie McNelley. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 21st, at St. Thomas More Church in Lake Ariel at 11am. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Ledgedale.
