Obituaries » Sean Wertman Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Sean Patrick Wertman, 27, of Honesdale, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his home. Born on December 21, 1986 in Honesdale, he is the son of Jack M. and Sharyn Brundage Wertman of Honesdale. He was a graduate of Honesdale High School and later worked in carpentry and masonry. An avid sports fan, he loved basketball and the Dallas Cowboys. Sean also enjoyed playing golf, softball and his X Box. He loved all animanls, especially his dogs. Above all, he loved his nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his brothers Mark Wertman and wife Ellen of Honesdale and Kevin Wertman and wife Melissa of Waymart; sisters Dawn Taninies and husband William of Honesdale and Heather Eltz and husband Brian of Pleasant Mount; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Cremation will be held at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory, Archbald. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 15th at noon at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. Interment will be in Keen Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 4 to 7.
