Forman (Hubbard) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends SANDRA STELLA FORMAN OCTOBER 4, 1944 – JUNE 1, 2024 She passed peacefully on June1 2024 in the hospice unit at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, Richard Forman of Honesdale, and a stepson, Jay Forman, of Kent, Washington. Sandi was a force of nature. She was petite, but mighty. Friendship was all important to Sandi and she treasured her close ties with people of all ages and backgrounds. Her special interests were veterans’ affairs, the support of various animal rescue groups and tracing her family history’s contributions to America through their brave service in many of America’s wars. Her husband recounts Sandi’s constant charity efforts, such as when driving her to see the Pennsylvania Ballet, he often had to pull over and stop whenever she spotted a homeless man on the sidewalk so she could hand out the many pairs of warm mittens she always carried in the car on winter days.
