O'Brien Smith Burial Date August 4, 2015 Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Sally Elizabeth O’Brien, 66, of Honesdale, died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She is survived by her husband, Kevin T. O’Brien. The couple married on May 18, 1991. Born on July 9, 1949 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Schupper Smith. Before raising her family, Sally worked at Katz Underwear Factory. An artist, Sally enjoyed drawing, painting, making clothing and crafts. She also enjoyed reading and cooking. Also surviving are her daughters Gidget Siciliano and husband Arthur of Bergenfield, NJ and Kim Adamides and husband Bobby of Mahwah, NJ; sons Tony Weber of Arizona, Jerry Weber of Carbondale, PA, and Robert Shuger of New York City; a sister Barbara Hoover of Lyndhurst, NJ; grandchildren Kaleigh and Gerald Weber, Christian and Isabella Siciliano, Lily Adamides and Alexis Weber; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Debbie Peck, Linda Schaeffer and Maralyn Shuger and her brother Darryl Smith. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 6:30 pm at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. Friends may visit on Tuesday, 4 to service time. As per her request, cremation will follow.
