I knew Russell as a true gentleman, sportsman, and community banker..I spent 26 years at Wayne Bank as the retail lending manager,Russell was retired by then, but when i visited customers at their place of business they always had something nice to say about Russell. Russell was the foundation for Wayne Bank for many years and it illustrated how he touched so many customers for so many years.He helped and put a lot of people in business over the years.He was a good person to know in my lifetime and was well respected in Wayne and Pike co..Rest in peace
