Robert W. Seaman

Robert W Seaman, 78, of Beach Lake, died Sunday September 13, 2015 at the VNA Hospice located in CMC Hospital. He was the husband of Johanna M. (DiCostanzo) Seaman and their 53rd wedding anniversary would have been October 6th of this year. Robert was born in Sault Ste Marie Michigan and was the son of the late Bert and Mildred (Campbell) Seaman. After his family settled on Staten Island NY, Robert graduated from Curtis High School and became employed in the Trust Department at Goldman Sachs in NYC. He was employed here for over 20 years before moving to Wayne County in 1981. Robert was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and neighbor. Survivors: Wife, Johanna; Sons, Robert of Newville PA, Michael & his wife Mizue of Key West Fl, David of Allentown PA and Daughter Susan of East Stroudsburg PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Robert M, John R, Benjamin J, Robert W, Laura R and Jared M. Robert is preceded in death by his sisters; Barbara Van Vorst of Staten Island and Anne Jacobsen of Bethany PA. Private funeral services were held at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
