Robert T. Mullins, 83, of Lackawaxen, died on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, the former Joan N. Enkler on March 7, 2004. The couple married on January 29, 1954. Born on March 8, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Olga Christopherson Mullins. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Bob worked for Economy Food Service on Long Island before moving to Pennsylvania. He enjoyed working for Woodloch Pines for many years. At Woodloch and throughout his life, he was known as a poet, singer, joke teller and friend to many. His humor and kindness will always be remembered. He is the cherished father of Susan Annable and husband Leon of Henryville, PA and Daniel Mullins and girlfriend Billie Russo of Coram, NY; beloved grandfather of Brian and Shawn Annable and Olivia Mullins; sisters Mary Reid of Rocky Point, NY and Marge Suppa of Florida; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Loretta Bruno and Dorothy Murphy. Funeral services will be held at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Saturday, Jan. 24th at 11am. Interment will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday from 3 to 6 and Saturday, 10 to service time.
