May you rest in peace Bob - but knowing you, not too much rest. No doubt, you are already helping the Angels clear up Heaven for Springtime. Not even they deserve to have you, your spirit and love so terribly soon. We send all of our most sincere thoughts and condolences to all of the Diehl family. Bob you will always be thanked, remembered and missed by an admirably large group of people whose lives you unforgettably touched. Well done sir. Heaven is a better place for us all now. We'll be looking out for you on the Herd the Curd course........

Coach Diehl was an amazing man. He will always be coach. He taught me so much more then ball. From the YMCA ball to middle school and missy basketball. The dedication and drive to be successful was something I learned from him and through playing with him. It pains me to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends. ❤️

My most sincere condolences to the Diehl family, for the loss of this WONDERFUL man of faith and purveyor of love. I met Bob and Theresa Diehl as a child of 9, them accepting me into their home as a Fresh Air Fund child. The Fresh Air Fund is a program which allows inner-city youth (which I was) from New York City impoverished neighborhoods to stay as a family member 2 weeks for a summer getaway from the inner city. I'd like to say - I have Bob and Theresa to thank for showing me the love a father and mother show their own. I enjoyed 4 consecutive years of learning how a hard-working family in Pennsylvania lived. I was taken to church, I was taken to his site where he worked as a lumberjack, I rode with him once as he collected milk from farms, and enjoyed 2 summers where Bob and Theresa owned and operated a dairy farm of their own. These WONDERFUL PEOPLE helped me to know what many inner-city Black children never get to know - true love and kindness from a White family. I know without a doubt that Bob is in the cradle of the Father's mercy - what a great example of Christ's love he was, and will remain in my most loving memory. God bless the Diehl famly.

Dear Diehl family, There are no words that could account for this great loss. What a beautiful tribute. May God grant you all some comfort and peace as you grieve. I am so very sorry for your loss. Praying for you all. Sincerely, Mary Seamon-Zellers

I am so very sad at the news of Bobs passing. Over many years as a teen, I was the "Diehl kids" babysitter. I loved each one, but I have especially fond memories of Bobby , who often crawled up onto my lap to have a story read to him. Many years later I saw him as a grown man, and kidded with him that it would be hard to hold him on my lap now! I know what a fine man he became, and how much he will be missed. My prayers are with his wife and family. May God grant you comfort and peace during this time.

Allie, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. I always heard such beautiful stories from Kerrie on how much he loved you and your siblings. May he Rest In Peace and be your forever guardian angel. Love to you and your family during this difficult time. Heather Chrisinger

Theresa, Please know that we are praying for you and your family! Bob had such a strong presence in this community. I was blessed to work with him on the Wayne Highlands School Board for many years and I admired his wisdom and leadership. We are proud to call him friend, he will be truly missed!
