Bruce Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Robert Edward Bruce, 90, of Honesdale, died on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Allied Services Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, the former Cecelia (Cissy) Yukner. The couple married on November 21, 1964. Born on April 2, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late George Hall and Mildred (Wright) Bruce. He was a graduate of Lycoming College and began his career in New York working for Columbia Records. He retired from ITT where he was an art director. Following his retirement and settling in Honesdale, he and his wife enjoyed selling antiques at the Antique Exchange in Hawley. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed swimming and playing basketball. At home he found pleasure in taking care of his garden. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, James Kevin Bruce and wife Shirley of Brooklyn, NY and Andrew Brian Bruce of New Lebanon, NY; his grandchildren, Victoria Kanani and Jacob Bruce. Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of his family.
